2020 RATIONAL released a new series of combi steamers. The suite now exists

of the iCombi Pro and the iCombi Classic. For both products we use index “J” in the

serial number scheme.

iCombi Pro

👉 The successor of the former SelfCookingCenter (SCC).

 👉The iCombi Pro 6-1/1 to 20-2/2 are completely new.

 👉The iCombi Pro 6-2/3 (XS) has new pcbs.

iCombi Classic

👉 The successor of the former CombiMaster Plus (CMP).

👉 The iCombi Classic 6-1/1 to 20-2/2 are completely new.

👉 The CMP 60 (XS) was not changed at all.

The CMP 60 is not listed intentionally.

All service connections (electric, water, drain, gas, Ethernet) are located at the rear of the unit.

Note: The unit features an integrated p-trap (syphon). In case the drain connected 

to the unit is also having a p-trap

(this might be invisible in the floor), the connected drain must be vented via a T-piece. 

Failing to do so will result in an overflow from the emergency drain.

Please refer to the installation manual which is part of the scope of delivery every unit

shipped. It is placed in the starter kit and contains

Where to get the software for the units?

The software for all units iCombi Pro, iCombi Classic and iVario/iVario Pro is

available via the “RATIONAL Loader” system.

Having a valid login to the RATIONAL portal, you can download the RATIONAL

Loader application. This makes it easy to search for the latest software version and

download it to the USB stick.

If you have no login to the RATIONAL portal but internet access use an original

RATIONAL USB stick that contains the RATIONAL Loader application. That will

enable you to request and get the latest software package from the RATIONAL

Loader server.

Note there are market specific RATIONAL Loader files for Key Account customers.

Alternative: Having a valid login to the RATIONAL portal, you can download the

software package for iCombi Pro and iCombi Classic directly from there. However,

we strongly recommend that you change to the RATIONAL Loader application

after such a download.
